Rapid Access Addiction Clinic (RAAC) - Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT Clinic) - Victoria

Supports individuals with opioid use disorder by starting & maintaining clients on opioid agonist (replacement) therapy (Buprenorphine/Naloxone[Suboxone]/Methadone/Kadian).
The Rapid Access Addiction Clinic (RAAC) in Victoria helps individuals with opioid and/or alcohol use disorders. Individuals with opioid use disorder receive support for starting and maintaining opioid agonist treatment (OAT). Individuals with alcohol use disorders receive medical support for starting on anti-craving medication. Clients receive short-term, individualized services to stabilize before moving to longer-term community services, including to primary care providers.

  • Assessment
  • Treatment planning
  • Take Home Naloxone
  • Withdrawal management
  • How to reduce harm to oneself and others
  • Referrals to social and peer support services
  • Supportive transitions to community services and supports
  • Opioid Use Disorder: Buprenorphine (Suboxone), Methadone, or Slow Release Oral Morphine (SROM-Kadian)
  • Alcohol Use Disorder: Individualized medical support for anti-craving medication
How to Access RAAC:
  • Self referrals are encouraged for Opioid Use Disorder treatment & services: Walk-in between 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Monday to Friday
  • Self referrals are also encouraged for Alcohol Use Disorder treatment & services: Please call the clinic for information about how to access (250-519-3776)
  • Patients connected with Victoria's Mental Health & Substance Team should discuss accessing services at RAAC with their case managers
  • Accepts referrals from physicians and clinicians; referred RAAC clients are offered booked appointments (See Physician Information below for more information).
