Adult Day Programs - Alzheimer's and Dementia

Provided by Eden Gardens

Provides adult day programs to Elders with Alzheimer's and Dementia.
Eden Gardens manages three adult day programs that run Monday to Friday: Daybreak, Stepping Stones and Community Bathing. These programs serve approximately 160 people with dementia who are living at home, on a monthly basis.
  • Daybreak Program: Intended for those who are finding independent living increasingly difficult due to Alzheimer’s and other dementias. Daybreak provides a comfortable transition and ease of integration into a care home environment. Interaction with peers in a safe and friendly environment can be life changing for those with dementia who are living in isolation.
  • Stepping Stones Program: Designed for those who have limited social contacts and are prone to isolation due to dementia. Stepping Stones provides a comfortable and friendly place for life-enhancing social interactions.
  • Community Bathing Program: Provides hygiene services to people in the community who are unable to bathe or have great difficulty bathing at home. Community Bathing Services include weight monitoring, hair washing, basic nail care, minor dressing changes.
