The program is subsidized by the Vancouver Island Health Authority and clients pay a small daily fee that includes lunch and snacks. Interested participants must apply to join this program.

Stepping Stones provides a comfortable and friendly place for life-enhancing social interaction. • Community Bathing: The Community Bathing program provides hygiene services to people in the community who are unable to bathe or have great difficulty bathing at home. Services include bathing, monitoring of weight, hair washing, nail care, minor dressing changes, and hairdressing services. Due to equipment limitations, the Community Bathing program does not have the ability to service individuals who cannot bend or sit, cannot move by themselves or have a body size larger than can be accommodated with our lifts. Community Bathing runs Monday to Friday by appointment. Each appointment is one hour in length and participants are committed to attending weekly.
