The Brain Injury Program (BIP) is an Island-wide community-based program that provides services to assist in regaining, improving, or maintaining function and/or independence for adults with acquired brain injury. This is done through BIP programming in a Community Service setting, or under the Community Supported Living Options such as rehabilitation, life-skills support, day programs, therapy, and family support. Services are subject to availability as they vary per location and are entirely voluntary, although a fee could be associated with residential services.

General Eligibility Criteria:
  • Patients must be 19 years of age or older,
  • Must have patient consent to access BIP although a referral is not required,
