Provides psychiatric assessment and consultation services for adults with mood and/or anxiety disorders.
The Mind and Mood Clinical Care Network provides psychiatric assessment/consultation for adults with mood and/or anxiety disorders, as well as additional clinical supports and services. Psychiatric consultations are an opportunity to meet one-on-one with a psychiatrist for a comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and treatment plan. After the consultation, the referring doctor will receive a detailed report summarizing the assessment, psychiatric diagnosis if any, and providing evidence-based treatment recommendations.
Psychiatric assessment and consultation is available by virtual visit across BC or in-person in Vancouver. Referral from a family physician or nurse practitioner is required. Services are available by appointment only.
This program is for an individuals who:
- Are living in BC who are aged 19 years or older
- Have a mood and/or anxiety disorder
- Have a full-service primary care provider
- Are willing to be seen virtually via secure DoBC Zoom for Healthcare
- Are willing to attend virtual group visits for post-consultation and psychiatric care
All services are covered by MSP.
