Friendship Lelum – Aboriginal Youth Safe House

Provided by Tillicum Lelum Aboriginal Friendship Centre

Provides short-term shelter for youth aged 12-18 who are experiencing stressful experiences and have been identified as "at-risk."
Staff work to promote a safe, secure, stable and nurturing environment for the youth who stay at Friendship Lelum. The program provides:
  • Counselling
  • Advocacy
  • Referrals, and
  • Support for youth staying at the safe house.
