Youth and Family Counsellor can help clients:
- Develop alternate coping strategies (for anxiety, depression, and other life stresses)
- Explore options for substance use (reducing or abstaining)
- Meet physical health needs
- Meet emotional health needs
- Problem solve in a crisis
- Connect with community resources
- Improve relationships
- Improve life skills
- With a referral to detox and residential treatment services
To access this service, email the Youth and Family Counsellor and ask to set up an appointment. Youth can also come to the Health Clinic and ask to connect.
